Rivendells Geisha has shown her great work in agility, won competitions and shown that German Pinschers CAN DO IT!

Oakwood v Kaitler Conspiracy "Secret": Swedish Champion, Swedish Winner -09
Oakwood In the Nick of Time "Nick": Started strongly with Swedish Winner -09 with BOB and did his second show with BOB just before he left us. His memory lives strongly within us.
Nicks sister, Oakwood Time to Winsome "Rebel", took her first BOB in Hässleholm and we look forward to her upcoming season.
2009 gave us our first Minipin-litter. The first Rivendells "Lilla"-litter was born. "Lilla" means "Little" in english and we thought that Lilla would suit the minpins! They have gave us a taste for the little ones and they too has shown that they are ready to place their names in "Rivendells list of fame". R. Lilla Kokos got BIS-2 on a show recently.
Well, we thank you all for this wonderful year and hope strongly that we will experience a coming year with much fun and great results!

A dog owner's nightmare.
No funny line, and not fun topic.
The day after the exhibition in Piteå, Elina discovered something was wrong with Nick. . Veterinarian was contacted and they thought he was exhausted after matings with Troya and the showing. On Monday he seemed better, but during the night to Wednesday, he became extremely ill and Elina for rapidly to the vet. It was found that he was very low in temperature was sent in hast to a large veterinary hospital in Gammelstad in Luleå.
When he came in he did not produce any urine from his kidneys. Testing was done on ethylene glycol poisoning and Elina went with the sample directly to the hospital for testing. The test showed positive for ethylene glycol, but it had gone to far so nothing was to do for our very special boy. Now the results from autopsy has come and also there were plenty of calcium oxalate in a crystalline form that is shown in that sort of intoxication.
We were of course all extremely shocked and extremly sad and it all happened so very, very fast.
We think much of Elina who had to experience this in more close quarters than us.

Emir Champion!
Yesterday we went to Österbybruk on tha last of two days showing. Sun shining and little Julia came along.
The day was quite nice in reults too... Emir got his title! That was very nice! We are so proud of our great boy! I leave Cathrine to write more about everything... :)
Julia was showing Gracie in "Children with dog" (dont know if it is the right words for it..) and got a 4:th place... She was such a sweetheart! GOOD WORK Julia!
Also we have a new male in the kennel. Rivendells Chili is back and presented on Our dogs.

New pictures
Litter plans uppdated with new pictures of Bobby and Blessin. We now soon if she is pregnant, she has past 4 weeks now. Hopefully I can let you now in a week or so.

Puppys expeced in June!
We prouldy present our expected L-litter! Auch Such Kaitler Haggiths Blessin is mated to Such Lilla Enebys Bobby. Both parents is very sweet and outgoing dogs, we are so looking forward to this combination. Enquiries are welcome!
Our J-litter has moved out last week and now only Rivendells Jumping Jupiter are looking for a new home. Jupiter is a very promising boy, dark red and good looking. He has a great expression and dark eyes. He is sweet tempered, calm and used to small children and other dogs. He has health certificate and vaccination done.
We have our first Minpin litter on the 5:th of March, Gaia and Elmer got 5 beautiful puppys! Two boys and three girls. It is so much fun to see them grow into great personalitys. They are now tree weeks of age and still moving around just a little bit. Today we are going to put collars on them and then will they get their names.

Such Rivendells Eroz! Now the kennelclub has the result posted on their site so today we congratulate Eroz for gaining his title in Gothenburg in Januari of 2009.

In Sweden we have an expression: The best you got you put on your table.... Iris seems to be the best her owners got ;)
Supercute, I can see on the ears she has started her teething. Don't worry most of the time the natural ears fold perfectly after this period without any tejping. Some of the puppybuyers will notice that they are less interesting in eating for a couple of days weeks. But most like to chew on stuff.

Imsa aka Holly, remembering, Hilja aka Trixie, and the J-kullen.
The last little I-kullaren Imsa moved a couple of weeks ago to her new home in Denmark. Julia got to choose between the names Pippi or Holly and the later was the name she picked. What I am going to write will probably sound strange for my friends that crop but it is HARD to keep a puppy longer than the 8 - 9 weeks we normally keep them... Not because of the puppy but because me and Julia get so involved. They lay in the soffa every night with Julia.
Julia told Emily how it was: MY MOTHER will NEVER breed such a nice puppy ever again.... She is 12 weeks and she is not even a biter.... And the biting part was very true, Imsa was very soft and sweet. BUT of course I hope we will get more puppys like Imsa out of Gracie and Blessin and Tara and Secret or Anahita, Whilda or Dora in the future :)
But you can't be sure can you?

That a Germanpinscher with a good temperament is capeble of granting every silly wish of his/her owner is something Argos gave proof of already at the age of 1,5...
That his owner Anna liked to hang with people that has Weimaraners might be one thing, but getting a GP to fetch seegulls in water that is a HOLE diffrent story...
Me and Kattis of course takes the credit for the behaviors showing above, HAVE To be excellent breeding on our part, don't you think???
